As per AICTE, APJ Abdul Kalam Technological University and Kerala Government rules. The following is the admission procedure for the current academic year. 50% of the total students in B.Tech courses are set apart for centralized allotment by the Commissioner for Entrance Examinations. In the remaining 50% of the management seats, 15% seats under NRI quota are given to children and dependants of NRIs on the basis of marks obtained for physics, chemistry and mathematics in 12th standard. Remaining 35% seats are given on the basis of merit by ranking applicants on the basis of marks obtained for P C M in 12th standard and for Kerala Engineering Entrance Examination.
Merrit
Passed in Higher Secondary Examination of the Board of Higher Secondary Examination Kerala or an examination recognized equivalent thereto with atleast 50% marks in Mathematics and 50% marks in Mathematics, Physics and Chemistry / Equivalent subjects put together or equivalent grade.
Management
Passed in Higher Secondary Examination of the Board of Higher Secondary Examination of Kerala or an examination recognized equivalent thereto with atleast 45% marks in Maths, Physics and Chemistry / equivalent subjects put together or equivalent grade.
b)Candidates shall be qualified in the entrance examination conducted by the Commissioner of Entrance Examinations of Govt. of Kerala (KEAM-2022/Management Entrance 2022/JEE-2022/span>
c)Candidate who have Diploma in Engineering awarded by the Board of Technical Examinations, or an examination recognised equivalent thereto, by the State Board of Technical Education after undergoing an institutional course of at least 3 years from an institution approved by AICTE, securing fifty percent marks in the final year Diploma Examination. (Lateral Entry).
a)No candidate shall be admitted to architecture course unless she/ he has passed an examination at the end of the 10+2 scheme of examination with at least 50% aggregate marks in Physics, Chemistry & Mathematics and also at least 50% marks in aggregate of the 10+2 level examination or passed 10+3 Diploma Examination with Mathematics as compulsory subject with at least 50% marks in aggregate.
b)In addition to the academic eligibility, candidates who qualified in the National Aptitude Test in Architecture (NATA) will be considered for admission to B.Arch. course.
c)There is no provision for lateral admission to the second year or at any stage during the 5 years course in Architecture.
d) Age: Applicants should have completed 17 years on 31st December 2022. No relaxation of age will be allowed.
e) Nationality: Candidates must be Citizens of India.
f) NRI allotment: Score in the entrance is not required for NRI allotment. However they have to fulfill the academic eligibility as per norms.

Copies of following Certificates/ Documents to be submitted along with the application.
Applications not accompanied by documents in proof of claims of reservation will not be considered in such categories. Documents/Certificates furnished after submission of the application will not be entertained under any circumstances. Late and incomplete applications will be rejected.
